5 Detox Juices for Your Health

You can pick and choose the ingredients that you know you like, add another healthy favorite or leave out something that doesn’t suit your tastebuds.

In this article, we will list a wide array of detox juices with multiple ingredient combinations and additional health benefits. For each of the following recipes, simply put all the ingredients in a juicer and drink chilled. It’s best to drink immediately, but if you have to store it, do so in a sealed (preferably dark-colored) container in the refrigerator.

1. Wild Spiced Dandelion Berry Bliss Juice

 

This is one of my personal favorite cleansing juices, as it provides multiple additional health benefits. Pulped juices will almost always provide a healthier option and a great texture. They also make this recipe packed with immune-boosting vitamins. Not to mention, that name is kind of awesome, right?

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of strawberries
  • 1 cup of dandelion leaves (can be more or less according to taste)
  • 1 cup of raspberries
  • 1 small chili with seeds and placental skin removed (can be more or less according to heat you can handle)
  • 10-20 drops of alcohol free liquid stevia (depending upon the ripeness and sweetness of your berries)

2. Apple Beet and Blackberry Juice

The key ingredient in this one is probably the least tasty, but beet juice is one of the most powerful natural cleansers. It’s also highly nutritious and great when combined with other healthy fruit juices.

Ingredients

  • 3 small beets
  • 2-3 apples
  • 8 ounces of blackberries
  • ½ inch of fresh ginger

3. Ultimate Green Juice

This is a great detox juice that can be used on a daily basis. The ingredients list itself should show you the immense benefits, and the celery is the key to the cleansing power.

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of celery
  • 4-5 kale leaves
  • 1 green apple
  • 1 big handful of flat leaf parsley leaves
  • 1 lime
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 inch of fresh ginger

4. Morning in the Tropics Juice

This is another great juice that can be used daily. The tropical fruits provide gentle detoxing, and this juice provides the perfect way to start a healthy day.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium ripe papaya (peeled, seeded and sliced)
  • 1 small pineapple (peeled, cored and sliced)
  • 1 inch of fresh ginger
  • 1 medium kiwi (peeled)
  • 1 cup of young coconut water (stir this in after juicing) 

5. Blossoming Lotus Juice

Another wonderfully named, tasty cleansing juice, this is a great all-around choice. It was first served in the Blooming Lotus Thai Restaurant in Oregon, hence the awesome name.

Ingredients

  • 5 large Fuji apples (cored)
  • 2 inches of fresh ginger (peeled and sliced)
  • 1 medium lime
  • 7 large sprigs of cilantro
